There was only one production run of the Projekt: Lila "Limited Edtion" CD-ROM
and there will be no other, so each copy is already a collector's item.
Story:
In Projekt: Lila you step into the shoes of Lila, a cyborg warrior by trade, who must
face a corrupt system. Once fighting for said system to uphold law and order, she has
fallen from grace for yet unknown reasons and must find out who or what is responsible
for this. The system declared her public enemy #1, so she is on her own.
Gameplay:
The game is a tribute to the classic Mega Man franchise. There's a a small but important
difference, though: Lila was damaged during her escape and cannot run and shoot at the same
time (shooting while jumping or falling is possible, though). In order to repair herself and
gather information, Lila must collect the logic units (so-called "eBrains") of
her adversaries.
Graphics:
The game was intentionally made in the 8-bit style known from the Mega Man franchise
(NES/Famicom), but adds parallax scrolling in pursuit levels.
Sound:
The soundtrack was contributed by BMR. Songs like "Listening",
"Run" and "Work in Progress" were converted to MODs.
(Including vocals!)
