Ariadne II
What is the Ariadne II?
The Ariadne II is a 10 MBit Ethernet board for the Zorro-II expansion bus of Amiga computers.
It offers connectors for the Ethernet standards 10BASE2 (Cheapernet/BNC) and 10BASE-T (twisted-pair
TP Ethernet). In addition it works flawlessly in DRACO systems and usual Zorro extension boards
for A1200 like the ones by Winner, Micronik and RBM.
What software is included ?
The Ariadne II comes with drivers for SanaII (usual Commodore network driver system) and ACS
(Novell client software for Amiga). In addition you will get a full featured TCP/IP stack
(Genesis by Active Technologies) that will work with the Ariadne II in a usual networking
enviroment. Optionally there are special Miami-Deluxe drivers available.
