PCMCIA CF Transfer Kits
Data Transfer from Your PC to Your Amiga Via Compact Flash
The Compact Flash transfer kits on this page allow you to transfer
data like ADF images from any PC or Mac with CF card reader to your
Amiga 600 or 1200. Just install the free software included on the
diskette we ship with the adapter
( compactflash.device
and
FAT95),
insert the CF adapter into the Amiga's PCMCIA slot, and you can read from
and write to PC-formatted Compact Flash cards right away.
Please note that there are many different Compact Flash cards in the
market, unfortunately not all of them work well with the Amiga. If
you'd like to make sure to have a working CF card, please use the
configuration option and add one of the cards we have tested with
our adapters.
Note: The adapter for CF cards of type I are usually sufficient for
most people. There are very few CF cards of type II out in the wild
(those are thicker than type I cards), and you only need to buy
the adapter for both types if you have or intend to use such a card
(or a MiniDrive, but those are untested anyway).
