emulation and support package. C64 Forever embodies an intuitive player
interface, backed by a built-in database containing more than 5,000 C64 game

"MP3 of retrogaming". Features include: emulation of C64 hardware,
additional emulation of related 8-bit systems, more than 200 preinstalled

Video game pioneers know it - the COMPETITION PRO for
Commodore 64 and Amiga systems won the hearts of the gaming
community in the eighties and soon became the most successful
joystick of all times. It's extreme durability and the
characteristic clicking of the microswitches ensured its brand
recognition. When the Competition Pro was
re-released for PCs
in 2004, the main target was to be true to the original. The design
was 100% adopted and characteristics like microswitches, metal
stick and the choice of colours are identical. All these details
paid off: The Competition Pro USB was a huge success.
As a result of the attention that the re-release has
attracted, many requests for the original version with a plug for
the systems of the eighties were made. There are many
people who still own the old systems like the Commodore 64.
This led to the idea of reviving the old Competition Pro for the
systems it all started with.

This version of the
popular
flickerfixer
is designed for Amiga models with OCS and ECS.
All screenmodes are converted to frequencies of 60Hz or more
(output optionally at 50 Hz to avoid tearing effects), and the
S-Hires mode of the ECS chipset is displayed in full resolution.
Indivision ECS can display the ECS screenmodes even on
systems that only have an OCS Denise chip, the only requirement
is an ECS Agnus chip.
Non-interlaced modes can be 'downgraded' with the built-in scanline
emulation to achieve the warm and fuzzy retro feeling your
1084 monitor provided back in the day. :-)
Another novelty is the built-in Graffiti emulation. Software that
makes use of the Graffiti modes can display 256 out of 4096 colours
without HAM artefacts.
